And yes, it includes alcohol! Jurassic World: The Ride is now open at Universal Studios Hollywood and it’s better than ever! Even Chris Pratt couldn’t prepare me for this!

I never really understood Tiki Drinks until I moved to LA. They’re kind of perfect. What better way to spend the summer than drinking a Pina Colada out of some Tiki Man’s head! I really loved that they put a dark rum float on top of the Pina Colada. I definitely did not have to ask for that! That was a bonus! The Mai Tai was made basically entirely out of rum. I couldn’t believe my eyes! PLUS each drink only cost about $14 which is completely reasonable for a handmade cocktail. Especially at a THEME PARK!

Honestly, I was pretty dang buzzed after one of these and I’m not trying to brag, but I’m an experienced drinker. Once I had a few drinks to wet my appetite, I visited the new Jurassic Cafe for some bites! First I went for the guac with plantain chips. I liked that they added cojita and pomegranate, but I wish the guac was a little spicier. I get that a lot of people don’t like spicy food, but dinosaurs are DANGEROUS! Why play it safe?

Oh, by the way, I accidentally ate a meal fit for a Brontosaurus! Everything I ate just happened to be vegetarian and vegan! As a meat eater, I was impressed by all of the options for herbivores at Jurassic Cafe. Especially, this next one!

The JACKFRUIT! OMFG. Y’all, I am a Jackfruit Believer after this! Honestly, the best tasting vegan dish I ever remember eating. My veggie eating friend and said it was one of the best things she has ever eaten, too. I have to agree! Just trust me! Eat it! Tastes like pork, but with a slightly different consistency. Hope you can handle this next pic.

You know, if a T-Rex is gonna eat most of humanity we might as well eat some plants! But, whatever! Live your life!
DESSERT!

I picked up this chocolate cake because it looked perfectly moist. I’m usually the type of person who takes two bites of dessert and if it’s not worth it I wont eat anymore. THIS WAS WORTH IT.
The macadamia nut brittle that accompanied the dish was INSANE and there were a few macadamia nut pieces inside of the frosting cake as well.
So you have a ticket to Universal, what should you do? Definitely grab some drinks at ISLA-NU BAR, go stand in line at JURASSIC CAFE, grab some food and then get on JURASSIC WORLD: THE RIDE. There were also some dinosaurs walking around! You’ll have to see it to believe it!
Is anyone planning a trip this Summer? Let me know!
